Hi, I’m Jessica, the founder of Fur Monster Goodies. My journey started in the kitchen—I built my career in the culinary world, where I developed a passion for quality ingredients and thoughtful food. When Covid hit, like many people, my life shifted. In January of 2021, my husband and I brought home our pup, Zuma, and like any new dog parents, we wanted the very best for him.

As I searched for healthy, organic treats, I was surprised to find so few options that matched the same standards I had for my own food. So, I turned to my background in the kitchen and started making my own. Zuma quickly became the official Chief Taste Tester, eagerly approving each recipe.

At the same time, my husband and I were trying to start our family. I realized I couldn’t see myself returning to the demanding restaurant lifestyle, but I also wasn’t ready to step away from food completely. That’s when inspiration struck: I could take my love of wholesome cooking, my care for animals, and my drive to create—and channel it into something new.

 

That’s how Fur Monster Goodies was born. Today, every treat is handmade in small batches using organic, responsibly sourced ingredients and packaged in eco-friendly materials. What started as a passion project for Zuma has grown into a mission: to give dogs everywhere treats that are just as nourishing as they are delicious.
